And remember..."God is good all the time and all the time God is good."

Congratulations ERBC Seniors!

Dear ERBC Family,

After prayerful consideration and with the included safety precautions, ERBC will begin in-person worship services on Sunday, May 17.  Initially only Sunday and Wednesday Worship Services will be conducted.  There will not be nursery or toddler care provided at this time.  Sunday School will restart later.  Please read the included recommendations for attending these services.

If you have health conditions which make you more vulnerable (heart, lung, immune system, diabetes, etc.), please exercise every precaution to protect yourself.  If you are not comfortable attending at this time, please do not let anything or anyone make you feel guilty.  Please continue to participate through our Facebook Live Worship.  Contact us if you need assistance with accessing our Facebook Live Worship.

At this time, a few things will be changing.  Seating will be in every other pew to allow the recommended 6 feet social distancing.  Families should sit together and those of other households should be separated in the pew unless you arrived together in the same car.  Offering Buckets will not be passed for tithes and offerings but will be stationed at either side of the Sanctuary’s rear exits, at the Welcome Center and at the mailboxes in the North Hall.  Bulletins will not be available.  At the conclusion of services, we will dismiss orderly beginning with the back pews so to not crowd the middle aisle.  Please do not congregate in the foyer.  If you wish to socialize, please do so outside of the building.  I will not be at the rear doors after service but will remain at the altar.  If you need to speak with me, please come and do so, being mindful of others and the recommended social distancing from them.

These are unprecedented times we are living in and we must live by an unhindered faith.  Each of us must be surrendered unto the Lord Jesus, filled with His Spirit, walking in the light of His Word and loving even as we are loved by the Lord in order for all to see the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ clearly.  Therefore, we need to draw nigh unto our Lord, continue in fervently prayer unto our Heavenly Father and constantly encourage one another in love.  God’s amazing grace is sufficient and abounding to meet our ever need in Christ (2 Cor. 9:8; 12:9; Philp. 4:19).

If you are unable to attend and have any need, please call me at (256)777-7734 or you assigned deacon. You may also call the church office at (256)232-9086.

By His grace,

  1.  If you are sick, experiencing a new shortness of breath, have flu like symptoms have had a fever in the last 48 hours or have been exposed to someone that has, please stay home.

  2.  Let a loving hello be our means of greeting one another,  being mindful of the recommended 6 feet social distancing.  Even if you are comfortable shaking hands and hugging the other person might not be.  Greeters will be setting this example.

  3.  Face masks will be available at the Welcome Center and may be worn during services.  If you choose not to wear a face mask, always cover your cough or sneeze with Kleenex or do so into your bent elbow.

  4.  Please be mindful to wash hands frequently.  Hand Sanitizing dispensers will be near each entrance and outside of restrooms for your convenient use.

  5.  Upon entrance please proceed to the Sanctuary and take a seat.  Families are asked to sit together and different households to sit approximately 6 feet apart unless you rode together.  Every other pew will be closed to seating to maintain 6 feet social distancing while seated.  If attendance exceeds our distanced sanctuary seating capacity, overflow will be directed to the Fellowship Hall to participate via Live Stream.

  6.  After entry please limit traffic to necessary restroom visits.  The kitchen and all classrooms will be closed to traffic.

  7.  At the conclusion of services, we will dismiss orderly beginning with the back pews so to not crowd the middle aisle.  Please do not congregate in the foyer.  If you wish to socialize, please do so outside of the building.  If you do not wish to socialize , you may proceed to your car as you exit.

  8.  Facilities available to parents with infants and small children are as follows: The Nursing Mothers Room (#309) will be open for use; The Toddlers Room (#310) will be open for parents with young children that might need a short break from service.  Diaper changing stations are available in the Toddlers Room (#310) and in each restroom near the Fellowship Hall.

  9.  Should you become sick or need assistance during a service, please ask a deacon at the rear of the sanctuary for assistance.  They will take appropriate actions to get you the assistance needed.

"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
